Sarciadong Dalagang Bukid is a Filipino fish dish that’s made with a tomato-based sauce. Here’s a recipe for Sarciadong Dalagang Bukid:

Ingredients:

• 1 whole Dalagang Bukid fish, cleaned and scaled
• 2 medium-sized tomatoes, chopped
• 1 small onion, chopped
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
• 1 cup water
• 1 egg, beaten
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Green onions, chopped (optional)

Instructions:

1. Season the fish with salt and pepper. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the fish until golden brown on both sides. Set aside.
2. In the same pan, sauté the garlic, onion, and tomatoes until the tomatoes are soft and the onions are translucent.
3. Add 1 cup of water to the pan and let it simmer for 5-10 minutes until the sauce has thickened.
4. Pour the beaten egg into the pan and stir it into the sauce. Cook until the egg is set.
5. Place the fried fish on a serving plate and pour the sauce over it.
