Ingredients:
- 1/2 kg talaba shellfish
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions:
- Clean the shellfish thoroughly and remove any dirt or debris. You can also scrub the shells to remove any accumulated dirt.
- Heat the cooking oil and butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and chopped onions and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until the onions become translucent.
- Add the cleaned oysters to the pan and sauté for about 2-3 minutes or until they’re cooked and their edges start to curl.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped parsley (optional).
- Serve the sautéed shellfish hot and enjoy as an appetizer or a side dish.
