Ingredients:

• 1 kilogram talakitok, sliced into serving pieces
• 2 cups tomatoes, chopped
• 1 onion, chopped
• 1 thumb-sized ginger, sliced
• 1 cup vinegar
• 1 cup water
• 2 pieces green chili pepper (siling haba)
• Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. In a pot, combine the tomatoes, onion, ginger, vinegar, and water.
2. Bring the mixture to a boil.
3. Add the fish slices and green chili pepper, and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the fish is cooked.
4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. Serve hot with steamed rice.
