Sarciadong Dalagang Bukid is a Filipino fish dish that’s made with a tomato-based sauce. Here’s a recipe for Sarciadong Dalagang Bukid:
- 1 whole Dalagang Bukid fish, cleaned and scaled
- 2 medium-sized tomatoes, chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup water
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions, chopped (optional)
- Season the fish with salt and pepper. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the fish until golden brown on both sides. Set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté the garlic, onion, and tomatoes until the tomatoes are soft and the onions are translucent.
