Here’s a recipe for this mouth-watering dish:
Ingredients:
- 1/2 kg fish, cleaned and gutted
- 1 pack sinigang mix (tamarind soup base)
- 1 onion, quartered
- 2 tomatoes, quartered
- 1 radish, sliced
- 1 eggplant, sliced
- 1 okra, sliced
- 2-3 pieces green chili pepper
- 1 liter water
- salt and pepper to taste
- cooking oil
Instructions:
- Heat the cooking oil in a pot and sauté the onion and tomatoes until softened.
- Add the water and bring it to a boil.
- Add the sinigang mix and stir well to dissolve.
- Add the fish, radish, eggplant, and green chili pepper.
- Let the soup simmer for around 10-15 minutes or until the vegetables are cooked.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot with steamed rice and enjoy your delicious Sinigang!
